Rotating telehandler
Technology, safety and full control
One machine, endless possibilities
The rotating telehandler is one of the most significant innovations in the world of construction and handling machinery. Unlike fixed telehandlers, Merlo’s ROTO range features a rotating turret capable of rotating by up to 360°, allowing the operator to work in multiple directions without having to move the machine. This feature reduces manoeuvring times, improves productivity and increases operational safety, especially in high-density environments.

Integrated technology for maximum control
Merlo ROTO machines are equipped with advanced assistance and monitoring systems. Digital displays provide a complete overview of tilt, boom extension, weight lifted and operating conditions. Furthermore, the ASCS (Adaptive Stability Control System) automatically adjusts stability and performance parameters to suit operating requirements.
Merlo’s hydrostatic transmission and telescopic boom ensure smooth movements, millimetric precision and extraordinary ease of use, even for inexperienced operators.

Safety without compromise
Each ROTO model is equipped with automatic stabilisers that widen the support surface to increase stability even during full rotations. The ROPS/FOPS-certified cabs ensure protection in the event of overturning or falling objects. Furthermore, the panoramic visibility, enhanced by large glass surfaces and rear cameras, allows for full control even in the most complex spaces.
Active electronic control of the machine ensures that every manoeuvre is handled safely: if the load or tilt limit is exceeded, the system automatically intervenes to block potentially dangerous movements.
A versatile ally in every operating context
Thanks to the continuous rotation of the turret and compatibility with a wide range of accessories (man baskets, forks, aerial work platforms), Merlo rotating telehandlers adapt with extreme flexibility to every need: construction sites, industrial installations, urban maintenance, events, structural assembly, advanced logistics.
Operating heights can exceed 30 metres, while load capacity varies depending on the model, offering a concrete solution for both light-duty and heavy-duty lifting at height.

Why choose a Merlo rotating telehandler
Choosing a Merlo ROTO means investing in a machine that combines the best of Merlo technology: reliability, stability, advanced electronics, intelligent control and 360° vision. A machine designed to increase safety, productivity and adaptability in every professional work scenario, with the support of a comprehensive service network and digital solutions such as MerloMobility for remote management.
