COMPUTERISE, LOCATE AND MANAGE YOUR FLEET

MerloMobility computerises, manages and locates the fleet of private and company machines via a simple, cost-effective and fully customisable system.
It allows you to perform real time GPS radio localisation of several machines, control the most significant parameters, receive and manage alarms and output commands for event management.
System can be accessed and used via the Internet: no need to install any complex software, as all functions can be managed from a normal computer or PDA using a standard browser.
By enabling access to MerloMobility using your personal password from any computer connected to the Internet, you can receive all required information in real time. You can find out where the machines are, who is using them and under what conditions they are operating.

MERLOMOBILITY IS INNOVATIVE

Its extreme flexibility makes it easy to meet the specific needs of each customer, while the user-friendly graphic interface and user management feature make machine control simple and quick.
The Operations Centre is equipped with automatic assistance, control and security systems available 24/7.
MerloMobility uses an easy-to-navigate vector-based mapping system and innovative electronic control units to ensure utmost flexibility and easy installation on any machine or system.
The communication protocol is exclusive to Merlo and is optimised to minimise traffic and navigation costs on the wireless network.
The open architecture of MerloMobility is versatile and reliable thanks to a number of integrated functions, from detecting the geographical position of the machine to storing subsequent positions, from processing any alarms to managing the communication
with the Operations Centre.

IMPROVED OPERATING EFFICIENCY

Data transfer to the Operations Centre can take place in real time via GPRS or SMS connection or in deferred mode. In the latter case, the data are saved to the on-board computer, which then transfers them to the Operations Centre at regular intervals or at the user's request (because of cost, efficiency or reception/coverage). The GSM/GPRS/UMTS data connection module is a bi-directional communication system; it can therefore receive commands and functions to be performed on the machine and transmit information. The on-board interface allows interaction with the user, e.g., for the activation of buttons to communicate with the Operations Centre to report an emergency request, a robbery or for other functions that the customer may deem appropriate. Other functions can be provided on request: RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) reader, CAN BUS (Controller Area Network) interface for reading and sending data from vehicles to the Operations Centre for scheduling preventive maintenance, and user interface.
