ROPS FOPS and OPS certified thanks to the use of shatterproof lenses. Automatic air-conditioning as standard and air-suspension seat with optional heated high-back version. Positioned on silent blocks and foldable when needed for maintenance.

The four drive wheels are all steerable with hydraulic power assistance. Four steering modes are available: (on the front wheels, right turn, crab steering and optionally on the rear wheels only).

At the rear of the chassis, the tractor can be fitted with a radio-controlled hydraulic winch with a towing capacity of 12.5 t, alternating with a Cat. 2 lift according to customer requirements.

Front linkage type Cat. 2 and 3. Continuous supply of hydraulic oil to feed the front attachments at a maximum pressure of 420 bar. No. 3 auxiliary hydraulic outlets, one of which is proportional for operating the front top link.

Simple and precise operations. The entire range is equipped with hydrostatic transmission, which makes the work phases simpler and more precise. Moreover, the dry disc brakes limit the absorption of energy, thereby reducing the machine’s fuel consumption.

Countless hydraulically operated devices enable forest maintenance operations to be effective and profitable. Shredders for the construction and maintenance of fire breaks as well as buffer zones for high-voltage power lines and gas pipelines; systems for the reclamation of stony areas; extractors for removing plant roots after cutting; chippers for shredding biomass timber; equipment for preparing soil and reconditioning land; hedge cutters for cleaning road quays and pruning plants, in addition to many other attachments that are rich in advanced technologies. All attachments can be equipped with quick-coupling hydraulic connectors.

Easy Drive

The hydraulic operation of the attachment offers innumerable competitive advantages compared to traditional systems that use mechanical devices. The attachment in use can work in positions that go beyond the maximum angles allowed by the cardan shafts; there are no mechanical parts subject to breakage and, as a result, any recoil of the kinematic chain is excluded. Furthermore, the operator can reverse the attachment's rotation direction through a simple electro-hydraulic control in the cab.

The hydraulics

A radio-controlled hydraulic winch that can be set up at the rear of the chassis. The capacities vary from 7.5 to 12 tonnes depending on the models.

Total resistance

Anti-break glass. The Merlo cab is FOPS - Level II - and ROPS certified with approved anti-break glass to guarantee a high level of safety for the operator.

Certified cabins / Certified protection

This model has been designed for the best performance in the most demanding work areas. Headlights, air inlets, radiators, electrical wiring and hydraulic pipes can be protected with special steel guards.
