Builders of certainties..

Sometimes reality goes beyond expectations.
This is what happened to Herbert Hartkämper and his company in Gütersloh, Germany. Back in 1988, mister Hartkämper was looking for a telescopic handler which could offer high performances combined with reliability and speed.
After a long search, he decided to rely on an Italian manufacturing company, still unknown in Germany at the time. That company was Merlo and the machine a SM 60.10.
After almost twenty years since that day and after over ten thousand working hours, the same handler is still fully operational. “Those who see it believe I still use it because I am a romantic at heart – explains Herbert Hartkämper – but this is not the true reason. My SM 60.10 works all day long without ever causing any problem and ensuring the same performance as twenty years ago”.
After this first telescopic handler, mister Hartkämper bought a Roto 40.18 EVS and a few months ago a wonderful Roto 40.25 MCSS, because “Merlo is a certainty which allows me to work with peace of mind”.
