Silver: the symbol of quality

Used as an ornament first and then as a currency, over time Silver has also become the symbol of resistance and technology. Due to its characteristics, it is the most widely used material in jewellery making, as well as in the fields of electronics, mechanics and medicine.
This is the reason why, when Sanders and Robert Mort, owners of the English company DRS, were looking for a distinctive outfit for their building site machines, they chose silver as the colour to identify their first class vehicles.
At DRS, each machine must be the best in its category in terms of power, technology and quality. Even their first telescopic handler had to prove its worth. They started looking for a performing and easy-to-drive vehicle which could transport materials within the building site and easily move on any surface. They first decided to rent a Panoramic to test its performance on the field.
The first experiences were key to identify the model which best met the operating needs of the company. The purchasing choice finally was a P 36.10.
When it actually started working full time, the results went even beyond expectations. Its driveability, safety and speed became fully clear and the machine confirmed that it truly is a jewel of a machine.
