A manufacturer serving producers

When you think of Argentina, you immediately associate it with the Pampas, a huge, flat region – apparently bare and boundless – which stretches over one sixth of the national territory.
The Pampas, where the main economic activities are agriculture and stock-breeding, are the home of gauchos, romantic cattlemen who are the symbol of Argentinean nationalism. In these boundless plains they breed semi-wild cattle which provide the worldwide appreciated Argentinean beef.
One of the keys to top quality beef is the excellent mix of fresh grass and accurately selected forage cattle are fed with. One of the main forage producers is Combers Sa, whose owner Alejandro Iván Forcada created a line of top quality forage which can be adapted to the different stages in cattle’s life.
Highly skilled personnel and innovative technologies allow the company to offer a high-level product, and to become a symbol of efficiency and reliability.
When the need for a handling machine arose in the company, Alejandro Iván Forcada had no doubt: his company needed a machine by Merlo. The first telescopic handler – a P 36.7 Plus – was purchased in 2005, and was followed by a second one two years later. The two machines together have already accumulated over seven thousand operating hours, an impressive performance for machines which were just supposed to move grass from one spot to another.
