Guardian Angels.

The German organisation ADAC (Allgemeiner Deutscher Automobil-Club) is the main European automobile club and uses a heterogeneous fleet of service vehicles along German roads.
Its car fleet includes light road vehicles for road rescue tasks, heavy vehicles for recovery operations and even helicopters for emergencies. Few know that telescopic handlers are used too. They all have the characteristic yellow colour and are used in the most unpredictable situations.
One example is when a Panoramic P 40.17, fitted with a bucket, was used in a road accident involving a truck loaded with apples. The vehicle had capsized and the fruit had invaded the motorway.
At first, the queuing drivers smiled when they saw such an unusual vehicle picking up the fruit. The whole scene became even more astonishing when the shovel was replaced with a hook and a sling. The same vehicle then placed both the overturned trailer and tractor back on track, thus freeing the road and allowing drivers to resume their drive in a very short period of time.
Speed, efficiency and safety: this is why ADAC vehicles are called the "Yellow angels".
