E.A.S. - Hydro-pneumatic suspensions.

The E.A.S (Electronic Active Suspension) is the result of a winning and balanced combination of hydraulics and electronics, the two technologies used in the basic mechanics. Merlo engineers have succeeded in combining hydraulics (the true dampening system) with electronics (control system) to achieve an active self-regulating system, the efficiency of which is constant and not affected by the load, neither does the operator need to worry about its functional control.

Enhanced comfort
It makes for more comfortable on-road conditions especially when towing heavy trailers or over irregular terrain.

Total safety
The device also acts as a frame levelling device, so that safe working conditions are ensured even over sloping ground.

Improved performance
The dynamic performance of the machine is improved, especially round bends.
