Velocitractor: monstrously skilled

Up close, it looks like a creature taken from a film set.
Its dimensions may make it seem weak and harmless, but once started its roar sends a shiver down the spine and its agility surprises those standing nearby. Protected in any situation by its green armour covering, as its watchful and aggressive yellow eye looks around to find a new target.
No, we are not talking about a Velociraptor or other Hollywood monster.
The object of this description is the P 28.8 Top telescopic handler, the “Velocitractor” owned by Scabini, a company from Pavia (northern Italy).
The idea of giving this telescopic handler a personality was born by chance, on a motorway. While overtaking a truck, Giorgio Scabini, owner of the company, noticed a startling graphic on its cab and thought, "if this truck can be made to look so nice, why can’t I do the same with my telehandlers?". The drawing was an easy choice.
Due to its dimensions, agility, speed and the colour, there was an immediate association with the small, lethal dinosaurs from Jurassic Park. The beautiful air brush artwork was done by a leading local graphics company, which produced this small work of art in only a couple of days.
But external beauty is by no means everything - the inside makes the real difference.
The P 28.8 Top is already comfortable and precise – typically operators who use it at least once do not want to go back to another vehicle. His passion for this machine was such that Giorgio Scabini even upgraded the stereo system and fitted a 7" TV screen connected to an antenna on the roof!
His telehandler is now a luxury car. And a sporty car at that, as its performance is amazing. With its 40 kph maximum speed, the P 28.8 is the fastest handler on the market, while the hydrostatic transmission allows a precise and comfortable drive.
In other words, the P 28.8 is truly and "monstrously" skilled!
