Space system on a Roto working in Russia

If you take a stroll in St. Petersburg, you are certainly enthralled by the blend of different architectural styles which give the city an imposing, elegant aspect.
The architecture of St. Petersburg is widely influenced by the river Neva and by its bridges, which make the city unique and enthralling. The most famous bridge, one of the richest in history, is named after Alexander Nevsky, the national hero who in 1200 defeated the Swedish army, just landed on the banks of the river Neva, thus saving the Russian nation from their invasion.
This bridge, which was built in the 1960s, connects the peripheral district with the rest of the city, and is one of the most visited tourist attractions. In the evening it is flooded with tourists, who are lured by the mysterious and romantic atmosphere created by the modern lighting system installed on the arcades.
A sight to behold, which has been offered for over forty years by Lensvet, the company that has been in charge of street lighting since 1934.
It has always been a tough job, and this is why the company has recently purchased machines that can be up to their tasks: two Roto 40.25 MCSS models, both equipped with a Space 11 platform, and a Roto 38.16 model.
