The P 72.10: agile and efficient everywhere.

Drilling is one of the most demanding and risky jobs. This is why, when manufacturing drilling equipment, it is key to pay particular care to every single detail and work with maximum accuracy.
Larchford Ltd has decided to focus on quality, as shown by the new extraction system it is currently producing for Star Energy Oil Uk Ltd near Stockbridge, in the Hampshire area in England.
Due to environmental conditions, workers are forced to operate at a small-sized construction site and need to handle very heavy components. It took Mike Dursley - Director at Larchford - a long time to find the appropriate machine for the job. “It hasn't been easy to find a suitable machine for our requirements, but when we tried the P 72.10 we were immediately impressed by what it could do”.
Sales Director Dave Walzer, together with Mike Dursley, followed the tests on the machine: “I had already used a Merlo handler in the past”, he says. “It was a P 101.10 HM and we were really happy with its performance. But this construction site is very small, so we needed a machine which could offer the right balance between performance and size. To build our extraction system, we need to handle a lot of material and the P 72.10 is able to move easily and quickly without any problem. Also, the hydrostatic transmission and the boom side-shift allow us to operate with extreme accuracy”.
The technical-commercial support of the local dealer, Professional Machinery Solution in Aldermaston, was fundamental to choose the most appropriate telescopic handler for Larchford Ltd.
