Jack of all trades – and master of all!

The Multifarmer telehandler/tractor demonstrates it is the ideal vehicle for livestock farms.

If you are looking for a compact and versatile tractor but are afraid that size is directly proportional to performance, the Multifarmer will surprise you as it has many other sceptics.
Antonio Bachetoni, owner of a livestock farm in Spoleto, was one of them. When he first saw the Multifarmer 30.9 Classic2 at the Maip Group dealership in Perugia (Italy), he thought it too small to keep the pace with his company's needs.
Seeing it in action, Bachetoni soon realised his fears were not justified. This Merlo worked without ever stopping throughout the day and - thanks to its versatility – it showed it was the ideal vehicle for his company, where needs are many and varied.

The vehicle is powered by a powerful Deutz engine driving a hydrostatic transmission, a key feature of Merlo telescopic handlers. The result is a telehandler/tractor able to easily meet all operating requirements.
After about a year and a half, the Multifarmer has become the heart of Bachetoni's company activities. Not only does it work as a tractor, it also distributes feed and hay, cleans cattle sheds and collects manure.
Thanks to the many available attachments, there is no activity that does not involve the telehandler. It is used throughout the livestock farm but also to meet the logistic needs of the company olive oil mill.
Bachetoni's final comment? “It seems impossible that we worked without our Multifarmer until so recently. What a waste of time and energies!”
