MPR PLATFORM

The new MPR self-propelled aerial work platforms with the performance of a off-highway vehicle represent the next development stage of access platforms and reinforce the supremacy of Merlo in innovation and technology.

Conforming to the EN 280 Standard, it combines the lifting performance of a traditional self-propelled boom platform with the rough terrain mobility of a telehandler and the speed more akin to a truck-mounted platform.
Performance and safety are assured throughout very variable operating conditions.
The heart of the system is a self-propelled chassis with hydropneumatic suspension. Mounted upon it are a fully enclosed and furnished operator’s cab and a two man work platform supported by an articulated telescopic boom.
The new series propose three models, MPR 30, MPR 25 and MPR 20, with up to 30 metres working height and two man 225 kg.

This new concept completely eliminates both the loading and unloading of traditional self-propelled platforms and the limited off-highway performance of truck-mounted platforms, with consequent savings of time and labour.

The new Merlo mobile access platforms ensure maximum performance and safety levels in even the most demanding operating environments:

- Self-contained roading ability up to 40 kph
- Control from the platform upon the worksite
- Proportional control of all functions
- Slewing upper structure
- Fly-jib with ±90° of autonomous elevation
- 180° slewing fly-jib (option)
- Platform slewing around vertical axis
- Automatic frame levelling
- Hydropneumatic suspension
- 4-cylinder Deutz turbo engine, 74.9 kW (102 HP)
- Electronically managed hydrostatic transmission
- Load-Sensing hydraulic system
