The Group Merlo has received the "Samoter International Award 2008 - Equipment Manufacturer" for the continuous promotion of the technological research.

During the Samoter of Verona , Merlo is awarded the International Technical Novelty Prize; the innovative “Shift-on-the-go” gear change for hydrostatic transmission thereby becoming a milestone for the speed gear change field.
1997 – Machine of the Year in France
The P 28.7 EVT TURBOFARMER handler is nominated the Machine of the Year in France at the 44th National Finals of Rural Activities.
1996 – Gold Medal at the Samoter in Verona
Merlo is awarded the Gold Medal for the Technological Innovation of its revolutionary opto-coupled electronic joint for slewing boom machines at the Verona show.
1996 – Silver Medal at the Sed in London
Another award at the Sed in London: a Silver medal for its innovative ROTO 30.13 EV.
1994 – Three awards simultaneously at the Sed in London
Merlo receives both the Gold and Silver Medals for the technological innovation of its new P.25.9 handler at the Sed in London.
It also received the "The Best Newcomer Award" at the same event.
