MERlin, an exclusive system.

MERlin (Merlo Local Interactive Network) is a central control and management system, which is made up of two separate units: one for signal processing and the other for field interface management.
The operator has total control of the vehicle and of all system functions: the LCD screen in the driver’s cab shows messages with up to 40 characters; push-buttons, warning lights and acoustic signals allow the operator to control all loading, compaction and unloading operations, as well as to drive the vehicle.
The MERlin system also runs a maintenance programme for the equipment, and it displays inspections and operations to be carried out at regular intervals, according to the preventive maintenance schedule.
